Location

Campuses

Hawthorn campus is the main campus, situated about 8 kilometres from the CBD. It houses research and development facilities, Swinburne College and student accommodation, as well as sporting facilities, wireless internet, student services like counselling and health care, cafes and shops and a well-equipped library.

Lilydale campus is about an hour by train from the CBD, on the threshold of the Yarra Valley wine district Facilities include: the Student Village accommodation centre (overlooking Lilydale Lake), a training restaurant, counselling and health services, wireless internet and excellent teaching and learning facilities, as well as cafes and a nearby shopping centre.

Prahran campus is about six kilometres from the city and houses the Design faculty and the National Institute for Circus Arts. Facilities include counselling and health care, wireless internet, excellent library and computer labs. The local area is home to a rich array of restaurants and cafes, shops and fashion boutiques.

Croydon campus is a smaller campus located about forty minutes by train from the city. It offers computer labs and library, wireless internet, counselling and health care, and a bookshop.

Wantirna campus is also a smaller campus located an hour or so by public transport from the CBD. Its services and facilities include wireless internet, library and bookshop, computer labs and counselling and health care.

Sarawak campus in Malaysia is located about three kilometres from Kuching city centre and houses custom-built facilities for engineering, business, IT and multimedia. It offers state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities, student accommodation and sporting facilities.
